Richard J. Kemmling is a seasoned leader in investment performance and advisory services, currently serving as Partner and Chief Operating Officer – Advisory Services at ACA Group. Richard has been instrumental in enhancing processes and operations across ACA in Advisory as well as globally. Richard most recently spearheaded the establishment of ACA’s India office, a strategic milestone that enhances the firm’s “follow the sun” service model, reinforcing its global service capabilities. As Advisory COO, Richard’s responsibilities include standardizing operations, optimizatimizing delivery, and enhancing the client experience.
As the former Head of Performance Services, Richard has over 20 years of extensive investment performance experience in GIPS® verification, performance certifications, and focused reviews.
Richard is a frequent speaker at industry conferences worldwide and has been featured in leading financial media outlets for his insights on performance measurement, compliance, and business operations. Additionally, he has served on the United States Investment Performance Committee, contributing to industry standards and best practices.
Before joining ACA, Richard was a partner and president at a prominent global verification firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His professional credentials include CPA, CIPM, and CGMA, further solidifying his expertise in investment performance and financial governance.
