By March of 2021, many financial services firms will need to publicly disclose the extent to which they integrate sustainability risks as factors into their investment decision/advisory processes.

This is due to the implementation of ‘The Disclosure Regulation’ (EU Disclosure Regulation EU/2019/2088), part of an EU action plan package of legislation focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainable finance. This is aimed specifically at improving transparency through requiring the disclosure of information by manufacturers of financial products and financial advisors toward end investors.

ACA is joining forces with Simmons & Simmons to host a webcast that will provide alternative asset managers with practical guidance, outlining key milestones for firms’ and their implementation plans.

Discussion Topics

  • How much work is this going to be?
  • Who “owns” the implementation exercise and how should it be approached?
  • Documentation: what are the required updates?
  • What does a successful implementation look like?
