ACA Compliance Group has promoted Dan Campbell, Kimberly Daly, and Kent Wegrzyn to Partner. Each has contributed significantly to the growth of ACA and has provided exemplary service to their clients. Please join us in congratulating them.

Dan Campbell – Atlanta, GA

Dan Campbell is a Partner with ACA’s U.S. Compliance team. Dan is one of the key leaders in developing and delivering ACA's governance, risk, and compliance (“GRC”) technology. He has been instrumental in the development of the ComplianceAlpha® platform providing both a regulatory and business perspective to the product. In addition, Dan provides compliance consulting services to investment advisers including hedge fund, private equity, real estate, credit fund, family office, investment company, and other registered and unregistered advisers.

Dan joined ACA in May 2011 from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”), where he was an Assistant Regional Director in the Atlanta regional office. While there, he supervised several exam teams conducting registered investment adviser, investment company, and broker-dealer examinations. During this period, Dan took part in strategic planning for investment adviser and investment company examinations, which included communicating National Examination Program goals to his managers and examiners. Prior to that he was a senior vice president at BISYS Regulatory Services, and before that he was an examiner at the SEC in Atlanta. Dan has over 25 years of experience in compliance.

Kimberly Daly – Pittsburgh, PA

Kimberly Daly is a Partner with ACA’s U.S. Compliance team. Kim co-leads ACA’s Analysis and Review Center in Pittsburgh, PA. She is responsible for scaling and supporting ACA’s innovative operational and compliance support services as well as managing client relationships. Kim has been with ACA since 2005 and has held numerous roles including regulatory consultant in both the U.S. and London and as the compliance professional overseeing ACA’s educational conferences. In her varied roles, she has worked with global investment advisers by providing regulatory mock examinations, compliance advisory services, and compliance process reviews.

Prior to joining ACA, Kimberly was a Staff Accountant with the SEC’s Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations in Washington, DC. During her six years at the SEC, she led or participated in examinations of more than 200 investment advisers.

Kimberly is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional.

Kent Wegrzyn – Chicago, IL

Kent Wegrzyn is a Partner who co-leads ACA’s Private Markets Practice. In his role, Kent scopes, manages, and delivers products and solutions to managers of private equity, real estate, venture capital, and other types of commitment-based private funds. He also works on product development and enhancement, business development initiatives, and building out ACA’s private markets infrastructure and subject matter expertise. Kent has provided compliance consulting and business development services at ACA since 2007.

Prior to joining ACA, Kent served as a securities compliance examiner at the SEC’s Chicago regional office, where he was hired under the federal government’s Outstanding Scholar Program. While at the SEC, he led and/or participated in over 50 examinations of investment advisers, hedge fund managers, and investment companies. Several of these exams prompted referrals to the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, the Internal Revenue Service, and the United States Attorney General for further investigation.

Kent has also been awarded the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association.
