Joseph “Jody” Kochansky is the Head of Product and Engineering at ACA Group, where he leads the strategic development and innovation of the firm’s compliance technology solutions. With a deep focus on product vision, scalability, and client-centric enhancements, Jody ensures that ACA’s technology remains at the forefront of an evolving regulatory landscape.
Jody brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in financial technology, investment management, and product strategy. Before joining ACA, he spent over 27 years at BlackRock, where he held multiple senior leadership positions. Most notably, he served as Head of the Aladdin Product Group, overseeing a global team of more than 1,500 professionals and driving the evolution of BlackRock’s industry-leading Aladdin platform. His leadership extended across key areas including portfolio management tools, risk analytics, equity trading, and software architecture.
Beyond BlackRock, Jody has been an influential figure in the fintech space, advising private equity firms on investment opportunities and serving on the boards of emerging financial technology companies. He contributed his expertise as President of Product and Technology at Clearwater Analytics, where he helped drive innovation and operational scale. He also played a key role in the growth and successful acquisition of RegTech company Paragon Data Labs.
At ACA, Jody leads the continuous advancement of ComplianceAlpha® and other regulatory technology (RegTech) solutions, ensuring they meet the complex needs of financial firms. His role is pivotal in strengthening ACA’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that empower clients to navigate regulatory requirements with confidence and efficiency.
