Trey Loughran is the Chief Executive Officer of ACA Group and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He brings more than 30 years of experience across financial services, data and analytics, and technology-enabled solutions. Trey has a proven track record of leading business transformations, driving growth, and building high-performing teams in complex, regulated industries.
Prior to joining ACA, Trey served as Chief Executive Officer of Purchasing Power, a private equity-backed financial services platform, where he led a successful business transformation and exit, culminating in the company’s sale to PROG Holdings (NYSE: PRG). Earlier in his career, Trey spent over 12 years at Equifax, where he held a range of senior leadership positions, including President of the U.S. Information Solutions and Personal Solutions business units, Chief Marketing Officer, and Head of Corporate Development. In these roles, he oversaw large-scale P&L management, led mergers and acquisitions, drove product innovation, and developed enterprise go-to-market strategies.
Trey began his career at Lazard and subsequently worked in law and consulting roles, including positions with McKinsey & Company, before transitioning into operating leadership. His diverse background enables him to bring a strategic, commercially focused perspective to ACA’s continued growth.
As CEO, Trey is focused on advancing ACA’s position as a leading provider of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions to the financial services industry. He is focused on helping clients navigate increasing regulatory complexity through a combination of advisory expertise, managed services, and technology-enabled offerings. Trey leads with a collaborative, people-first approach and is committed to fostering a culture that drives innovation, client success, and long-term value creation.
Trey holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
